If you are talking about difficulty wise, hacking well if more difficult than video game programming in general. Both are more difficult than this series on hacking. Now programming languages and concepts have different "heights" based on how close the program/concept is to working with the actual hardware. I.E very low level programming involves working with the hardware components. In that sense, hacking is "lower" usually.

[2012-05-21 07:06:10] DeusAres1 - lmao, only if you ...lmao, only if you get caught. and if i were you i wouldn't be using antivirus software that charges you to begin with. there are plenty of FREE and GREAT antivirus programs out there. sometimes even better than norton, mcaffee, etc. I use microsoft security essentials. works great. i also recommend you use a malware cleaner such as malwarebytes anti-malware in conjunction with MSS. just get the free version of malwarebytes, manually update it, and run scans as needed.

You describe hacking as getting into external systems / data. Even though this is somewhat true; it is not the true definition of a hacker. Hackers are people that modify systems / programs to create hacks. So if someone downloads a photo uploader, but wants the uploaded photo to be cropped they can "hack" it. Of course 99% think hacking is getting into systems, though the true term for that is cracker.
