[2012-05-01 02:33:53] maccollectorZ - I have used all-in- ...I have used all-in-ones since 2004. Before that we had this stupid Windows PC tower and separate monitor. I understand that they are easier to fix and that they sometimes pack more power, but this Windows PC was a piece of junk.

It's difficult to repair failing components. They are only popular because of the touch screen craze. All-in-ones in general are crap. I blame apple for all this all-in-one crap. They just keep dumbing down the computer until everyone just has an iphone and an ipad.

I saw a 1,700 dollar Windows laptop at Staples. I'd rather get a MacBook Pro for less, with better specs. I also went into a Sony store, and they were trying to sell the "amazing" new Sony Vaio for 4,500 dollars! The specs sucked too.

Macs are ahead of their time without a doubt. There hasn't really been a failed Apple OS either. How many Windows OS's have been horrible? Vista? Windows 98 SE? Windows 95? TRASH. People tend to say bad things about Apple because they are all "fancy shmansy". Really? Just because they revolutionized the world, that means they are pretty boy computers??

My cousin had to get the screen replaced on his Windows PC laptop 3 times, and now he has to use an external monitor. Macs have had magsafe adapters for 6 years, they have shortage protection, and the HD shuts off if you drop one so that it's safe from shock. I know someone who had a "fancy" gaming Windows PC, and his mom tripped over something in the USB slot and it shorted the computer out. It wouldn't turn on.

Then I go to Best Buy and see all these stupid Windows PC laptops (brand new) and they advertise that it weighs an impressive 5 pounds, and is thicker than my PowerBook. They tend to use very cheap plastics. My 2001 PowerBook is made of Titanium, and yet Windows PC laptops are made with cheap plastic. (comment continued in next box)

They just got the technology to make an all-in-one that's clunky and not even good, while Apple has been making all-in-one computers since 1983. (And I know Windows is the software, not the hardware.
