There's Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering... usually Electrical Engineering as to do with create electronics. Comp. Science creates programs and can monitor software, like IT. They can also create games and such. Comp Engineering deals with the actual making of computers. I think the components that make a computer like the hardware... motherboard, cpu, etc.

The only future I see in CS is working for 30k a year with a horrid project manager and an 80 hour a week overtime filled schedule, with all the good jobs getting swooped up by lucky people, or people with multiple degrees. Also moaning about outsourcing as I try to scrape together a living while trying to do the impossible so the PM can take all of the credit.
