Super Talent RAIDDrive II 2000mb/s suck on ThaT!!!
[2011-09-15 16:18:30] FiFAViDZ4You - How to find wich ...How to find wich usb version I have?
[2011-07-20 14:35:12] MouthofSaurons - My RAM-drive is ...My RAM-drive is 3036 MB/s. I R WINNAR
[2011-04-17 01:23:25] BionicSammich - i wish it was ...i wish it was cheaper lol. can you recommend a cheaper option with between 8 and 32gb that can transfer fast. i transfer a lot of 3d model designs between my home computer and my school computer so i need it to be fast so i dont need to stay after class waiting for mine to finish.
[2011-04-13 16:21:56] DivaAnnFisher - What is the 2nd gen ...What is the 2nd gen Fresco controller. FL1009? Where to buy. Model number??
[2011-04-12 02:17:20] merts487 - He compared it to a ...He compared it to a internal SSD vs a external thumb drive. Now, who is the half-wit? You obviously can't compare it to a SSD vs a thumb drive. (shaking my head). I love this product. I want it. But I can't afford it. That's the only thing that's holding me back to own one of these. I wish I could have one of these sent to me (particularly the 128GB) It will sure help me with my networking classes. by the guy on this video :)
[2011-04-06 16:33:52] DivaAnnFisher - Is there 1-shipping ...Is there 1-shipping FL1009 based PCI-e card?, 2-FL1009 based ExpressCard (for laptop)?. Same questions for older FL1000 based PCI-e and ExpressCard. I assume that Fresco Logic FL1000 and FL1009 use less power and are faster then NEC/Renesais based card? WITHOUT A SOURCE TO BUY THE REQUIRED FL1000/FL1009 CARDS THE SUPERTALENT DEVICE IS USELESS ... A CHAIN IS ONLY AS STRONG AS ITS WEAKEST LINK. HOPE YOU CAN AND WILL RESPOND QUICKLY. I like SuperTalent products and want to be able to use.
[2011-04-03 05:33:18] merts487 - What is the drive ...What is the drive USB called? How fast is this on a USB 2.0?
[2011-03-02 19:23:55] gosupertalent - It was correct when ...It was correct when I said it, 3 months ago. I'm glad you have such a fast drive but bet you don't carry it in your pocket. If you want something almost as fast, that can fit in your pocket, we've got you covered. I am sure we will make a flash drive that goes faster than your SSD real soon. Be good.
[2011-03-02 17:29:54] pwhittak1 - this is not fatster ...this is not fatster than my SSD you are wrong. The crucial c300 has a top read of 388 mb/s
[2011-02-22 19:03:48] ageruler1 - My RAID0 array hits ...My RAID0 array hits 376.2MB/s Now that's fast...
[2010-12-01 23:31:37] zoobiewa - Thank you for ...Thank you for taking the time to formulate that response. Very appreciated.
[2010-12-01 12:48:07] tipoomaster - Yup, thats correct ...Yup, thats correct. I guess they could measure how fast it takes to open things the second, third, and fourth time and see if a drive this fast makes a difference.
[2010-12-01 03:55:57] peterc408 - True that - if ...True that - if ReadyBoost doesn't work on this drive, it just doesn't work :) but how to test it - is there a program or a procedure to gather emperical data? ReadyBoost, as I understand, is a caching system; and thus will not help the first time I do something, like open MSWord, but will help the next time I do it. It is great for background tasks but those are harder to measure. I have one of these drives and would be happy to test it, if I can.
[2010-12-01 03:52:17] peterc408 - -- This drive uses ...-- This drive uses NAND flash controlled but it is not controlled by a flash controller, but two JMicron 612, SSD controller; each supported by cache. Sure, its all solid state but an SSD is much more than solid state - there's a way of writing to and controlling flash Flash. SSD write in blocks of data. These blocks are made of pages of data - totally different than a basic flash controller. These are not dual channel or quad channel but 8-channel controllers; & this has 2 of them.
[2010-11-30 14:33:49] zoobiewa - What technology ...What technology does this use for storing data? I thought that flash/usb/jump drives were all based on SSD. It stands for solid state, right? Are there moving parts inside that little thing?
[2010-11-28 04:13:40] tipoomaster - The way they ...The way they benchmarked Readyboost before, with the performance of certain applications and load times.
[2010-11-28 04:00:20] peterc408 - A great idea, but ...A great idea, but how does one benchmark the effectiveness of ReadyBoost? Granted, if it doesn't work with this drive, it just doesn't work.
[2010-11-27 19:37:20] tipoomaster - Someone needs to ...Someone needs to benchmark if a drive this fast makes Readyboost actually worthwhile. Then again, the kinds of people buying these would probably have PC's too fast/packed with RAM to benefit from Readyboost anyways.
[2010-11-26 20:00:39] hargilad - Yes id like it ...Yes id like it very much... can you send me one of these mofos? (-;
[2010-11-26 19:47:04] borm91 - Now you can install ...Now you can install an operating system in here in order to boot. The main bottleneck at usb pendrives is the 4k filecopy/filewrite speeds.
[2010-11-24 23:50:15] marocanas - good product and ...good product and good performance fore a usb
[2010-11-24 17:50:55] First2ner - me wanting one? ...me wanting one? sure, but I can't use its speed over only usb2 it will take some time, before most computors will have ver.3, so for now, fastest link is sata2 or one of the pci slots, if there is any left after GPU Do keep enthusiasm high, its only right thing to do! Don't even do anything diffrently, I just find "mistakes", that are not really important, I can see what this product can do and can't wait I won't have to wait 10min for 4G to fill up More good products like this
[2010-11-24 17:15:48] gosupertalent - .... oooh, there ....... oooh, there is Fusion IO too.
[2010-11-24 16:04:24] gosupertalent - @First2ner..... ...@First2ner..... Good point. I should have said the fastest portable SSD, or just the fastest drive that is shipping today. I should always qualify "today" because in the future all drives will hit 370MB/s (at least). I agree that the web contains too many inaccuracies, so I will be sure curb my enthusiasm next vid. Until then, don't you kind of want to buy one of these?
[2010-11-24 06:13:50] First2ner - OCZ revo2... you ...OCZ revo2... you haven't mention nothing about size or price in vid, let that be clear, you have to watch what you say, if size and price is not a factor, you don't have "faster then fastest SSD" out there, but you just might have for that size, and I know you have, when it comes to price
[2010-11-24 01:45:18] gosupertalent - Do you know of any ...Do you know of any prodcut that can hit over 370MB/s? Go ahead and name it. I would love to compare against it in price, performance and formfactor.
[2010-11-19 05:51:34] First2ner - faster then tastest ...faster then tastest SSD... not, you still have raids like this on one/ in one solution. But you sure do beat them in size
