this was also good
[2009-08-19 22:51:16] ThatGuy042 - The lower frequency ...The lower frequency is not because the source is farther away but because the the source is moving in the opposite direction. The frequency changes because the source emits the wave and then moves away from the wave before emitting the next one causing the overall frequency to be lower.
[2009-02-28 14:06:13] farerse - but the further ...but the further away the source is . the lower pitch .. and also lower volume =/
[2009-02-27 01:20:51] AliceBabo - No, no. Loudness is ...No, no. Loudness is related to amplitude, not pitch. Pitch depends on Frequency. the lower the frequency, the lower the pitch.
[2009-01-13 00:36:22] farerse - we need to hear ...we need to hear this while we are following the source and slowly getting farer behind it
[2009-01-13 00:34:49] farerse - is : the pitch ...is : the pitch getting lower . same as it is getting quieter ?
[2009-01-10 14:43:30] Jack9488 - thanks man u just ...thanks man u just did my science hw for me lol
[2008-03-02 13:59:17] Gratis250 - Because the source ...Because the source creating the sound waves is in motion. Essentially, after one sound wave is emitted, the source "makes ground" on that wave so the next emitted wave is closer to it.
[2008-02-13 23:14:29] awsupernova - but why are the ...but why are the sound waves crowded?
[2008-02-13 23:13:19] awsupernova - koool thanks :)koool thanks :)
