As long as the entire human race isnt indoctrinated into full slavery of mind control.

[2012-05-20 20:00:08] Lyonangello - A'right, we already ...

A'right, we already know what Microsoft or Siemens headquarters will look like in the future. Now, what will the real world look like? Most of these snobbish things are already possible TODAY, the question is "Is it worth the money to make a building with lifting apartments?" Maybe for an eccentric mega-building for the richest in Dubai, but not at most cities with ordinary buildings, neither nowadays nor in 2050. This is like those future ads from the 60's with flying cars planned for 2001. XD

Sorry, I was just trying to shed light of a lot of misconceptions about the movement I was refering to. The information is out there, like they say seek and you shall find. Ciao Bella.

Why the hell would I want to? You seem to have mistaken me for someone incredibly interested in this topic.

[2012-05-07 10:33:38] creamone - Jacque Fresco's ...

Jacque Fresco's Venus Project is a separate entity from Zeitgeist Movement. Now the 1st Zeitgeist movie had nothing to do with the movement, it came out before the movement was formed. The movement got started after the 2nd movie Zeitgeist Addenum which has nothing to do with conspiracies. The website I gave you also have links to many videos u can watch and learn about current technologies, automation & on research on what motives people. Search for Daniel Pink scientific research on motivation

[2012-05-06 17:22:31] AlexRider001 - I had already gone ...

I had already gone through the entire FAQ before entering this conversation and found no answers to any of my queries. Its connection with the Zeitgeist project is one of the things that increases my scepsis toward the movement (since the Zeitgeist movies were a large steaming pile of conspirational crap full of badly researched material and blatant lies), and based on what I have seen of him, I have little to no respect for Jacque Fresco himself.

[2012-05-06 12:10:58] creamone - These are valid ...

These are valid concerns but if you would take time out of your busy schedule and visit the Venus Project & Zeitgeist Movement website, they have FAQ sections that answers all these concerns. Believe me I asked the same questions but after thouroughly going through the information on the sites I complete understand the direction now. Go ahead & give it a try, take your time & examine the material. After you digest all the material hopefully you will see that this direction is possible.

[2012-05-05 12:47:06] AlexRider001 - No. :D The type of ...

No. :D The type of resource-based economy described by these guys would never, ever work, because it is not thought through on the individual level. How does the individual get resources? Food? Clothes? Who makes them? What motivation do people have to carry out any work at all (especially unpleasant jobs)? Do you really think people would just work with no hope of reward at all? Do you want our technological level to come to a stand still? Motivation and innovation are born from competition.

[2012-05-05 11:37:37] creamone - I beg to differ ...

I beg to differ with you, we have technology that is in place and technology sitting on a shelf because of corporate greed buys up patents to keep certain technologies from getting off the floor. A resource based economy can occur today but change as we all no itsn't easy, but if all the worlds great minds can come together and work together, it can be done. Be a little more optimistic.

[2012-05-05 00:36:37] AlexRider001 - Hardly. Their ...

Hardly. Their resource-based economical system is, surprisingly enough, very shoddily thought through. It would never work at our current technological level, nor at any we could reach within the next 100-200 years.

[2012-05-04 19:56:52] Skillmen - 5:35 Right I walk ...

5:35 Right I walk as slow as I can if there is an emergency and maybe the whole building could collapse or anything else may happen. "Why should I run, I have second degrees depression like I would care if something happens to me now"

[2012-04-13 20:55:22] agamemnon60 - This is just ...

This is just sinister. Where's the human side of it all? Where's the comfort, the ergonomics, the culture, the sense of humour? Everything about this is humourless, robotic, cold and ultimately naive. Maybe it lost something in translation, or maybe the director really is a sociopath who thinks that frequent use of the word "synergy" will impress clients.
