hmm but then, should what exploded after us be right behind us moving toward us? I understand all of the objects that exploded earlier than us to provide us with the redshift, but, there should be something that is going to be moving toward us at some point - that exploded later than us - probably moving faster or slower, no? Then we should see the blue shift? Unless we were the center of the explosion, but then it is said that Earth is not the center of the universe.

[2009-05-28 18:20:39] KurdstanPlanetarium - Very nice comment, ...Very nice comment, but remember as we are in a state of a big bang explosion so every body is run away from every body. base on that wherever you stand on in the Universe, you will be the centre of that expansion and it seems that every other objects running away from you, thats why we can't observe blueshift, i believe so. just remember that we on Earth doing lots of complicated movements throughtout the universe, we part of Sun which part of a galaxy and that in turn part of the big universe.
[2009-05-28 01:14:10] inventorr77 - It's not the first ...It's not the first time science took a wrong turn. Edwin Hubbell was a genius, but like astronomers Galileo and Copernicus, "red-shift" theory is just wrong. Explain why no one ever observed a "blue-shifted" stellar light spectrum? In other words, why haven't any astronomers ever observed a star (sun) out there moving toward us? The more we learn, the more we realize we don't know... and the biggest obstacle to the progression of our understanding is our illusion of knowledge.
