[2010-08-04 20:31:57] RvTreviews - I have been ...I have been thinking a similar thing what i have seen that i may get hold of is an external PSU similar to a laptop style but to power things like fans pumps lights ect without the need for a PC to be on maybe that would solve your issues as they plug in to the mains they were cheap 2 only 14 euros i think

I would be interested in using these as work lights at full power, but have significantly less output while the system is running normally. Perhaps these could be tied into an unused fan controller channel?
