If you're a girl and you snort when you laugh, it's perfectly normal and acceptable, and even cute. It's a girl thing. Our society skewed it by erroneously associating it with pig sounds, but the sound does not sound like a pig, but like any kind of drilling noise. Yes, snorting when laughing is very normal, especially for a girl. Sorry if I sound so serious, but it is.
