very happy, that KR. Sridhar is from my country... !! Hope to see a revolution in Automobiles as well !! All we want is the green energy and pleasant future !!
[2012-04-13 13:27:17] vistatechie - Kudos to all ma ...Kudos to all ma Tamil people all over the world , we welcome all , lets Arise with Love and gratitude , Love you all *.* :-)

[2012-01-06 22:09:44] pikose78 - it is 2012 and ...it is 2012 and just heard about this for the first time
[2011-12-02 02:14:05] MrTekmania - Just need to ...Just need to improve the solar efficiecy. Placing 2 litre bottles of water over solar panels concentrates the suns rays and virtually doubles their output! Refine this crude concept with a commercially viable design then add 3D photo cell technology to further enhance it's efficiency. BAZINGA. No fossil fuel required. I'd appreciate a mention when the Nobel prize is being handed over.
[2011-12-01 11:14:18] Bloodclub44 - in a different ...in a different video he says it can use solar too
[2011-04-29 07:20:55] 33ehsan - i want one box for ...i want one box for my home :/
[2011-04-26 15:03:18] justhomas67 - this guy can be ...this guy can be another Bill Gates of 21st centruy , if he can come up with an affordable solutions to each and every families for the energy needs. Microsoft revelutionize the world which helps to have access with computer most of the people on planet. Untill Microsoft came in Existance IBM was dominate the computer and it was accesible to elite class and rich only. There are many companies out there coming up with different energy solutions .
[2011-04-05 17:55:54] mrmcphe - why not use ...why not use already existing photovoltaic panels? you cannot run a fuel cell without fuell, you need the chemical energy that is inside the fuel.
[2010-12-28 05:08:02] WiteBot - It is TESLA!! Not ...It is TESLA!! Not TELSA genius!!!
[2010-10-23 09:18:33] MCP2012 - Not quite exactly, ...Not quite exactly, no! (But, admittedly, close...). Tesla was ultimately into harnessing vacuum-fluctuation energy, more-or-less along the lines of (in terms of contemporary theorist(s)/inventor(s)), say, Tom Bearden. But this BloomBox stuff is certainly---to say the least!---interesting & hopeful.
[2010-10-18 01:58:05] tyranmc - Would be great if ...Would be great if they can create the chemical reaction inside the box using solar power instead of natural gas. Would make it totally independant of the grid and be virtually endless free power.
[2010-10-18 01:56:18] tyranmc - Would be great if ...Would be great if they can create the reaction inside the box using solar power instead of natural gas. Would make it totally independant of the grid and be virtually endless free power.
[2010-10-11 20:43:17] leanmachene - yoyo
[2010-10-11 20:38:15] leanmachene - Lets pause for a ...Lets pause for a second, altho a great invention this certainly isent the first of its kind,it is still gona rely on fossle fuels,no supression of this technolgy here then!, strange tho because some pretty ground breaking non useing fossle fuel technolgies were swept under that very big carpet of our goverments,in fact its like a mountain under the carpet theres that much there so b4 we all clap like seals just remember we have been fucking screwed for decades to line the pockets of comglomerates
[2010-09-26 11:15:02] raviranjanAK47 - Not in practical ...Not in practical use in 3rd world country, because it is not cheep, in India a 5KVA electric generator and Diesel engine both come in 25000 INR($600). No one in india invest more than this because only for clean and green. We don't know what is clean and green we only know what is cheep and reliable.
[2010-09-02 06:38:59] louielamson2000 - Interested! May be ...Interested! May be this is a NEW GATEWAYS for renewable energy... Thanks for sharing with the interview.. Vinh-Vietnam. September 02, 2010
[2010-08-30 06:15:14] fixurface1 - No limits people! ...No limits people! This guy is outside the box and so am i. There are those whom would have called this a foolish idea before it was created but the best is yet to come. Mmwuuuaaaahhhaahahhaha! "The secret is in the sand"." If you build it they will come". I whisper and then laugh spookily.
[2010-08-28 06:58:25] SoggyGibblets - Please fix the ...Please fix the difference in volume between the presenter and the guest ... it is crazy!
[2010-08-15 11:44:59] henrykay01 - I invented a ...I invented a breakthrough energy source which violates the law of energy conservation. I have a PROOF that there are electrodynamic phenomena which violate the law of energy conservation (and also experimental evidence of such phenomena). Making a 6 kW generator will cost $1200, value of the energy produced yearly $5400, zero operating costs. I am looking for $300 000 for a prototype and for $3M for patents. H. Tomasz Grzybowski tel. +48-512-933-540
[2010-07-16 22:09:21] DIEorPERISH - good question, but ...good question, but you missed how it works. The only emission is the air you took in. I recommend you look at how it works. Bottom line is, there is no CO2 emissions.
[2010-07-04 22:03:01] 5CR3WY0U - are you talking ...are you talking about Tesla?
[2010-06-21 04:58:20] LloydYdeana - But foremost, is my ...But foremost, is my question that you haven't answered yet. What do u think is the impact on drastic increase of CO2 concentration in our atmosphere?
[2010-06-21 04:51:00] LloydYdeana - I did. But if you ...I did. But if you have other causes, then school me. Post here the gist of ur claim. But prove ur claim with utmost validity from empirical data. But beware, don't ever attempt to restate other wannabe's theories and opinion who are actually disguised as modern day charlatans. Show solid evidences as accepted by the scientific community. If you think that it's cyclical & celestial as caused by gradual change in our orbit, explain then why the sudden change in global temperature?
[2010-06-20 22:37:02] Haytearah - Like I said before, ...Like I said before, do a little research. You will find you are wrong if you think global warming is being caused solely due to human interaction. Research both sides of a story before sticking to one. Or you can continue to let people think for you.
[2010-06-20 21:30:50] LloydYdeana - my ignorance? Do u ...my ignorance? Do u know wut u're talking about ? or just plain cynic. Do u think Global Warming is cyclic in nature? If Global warming is not the result of Anthropogenic GHG, what is the effect of almost 390 ppm CO2 in our atmosphere? Bloom box is fueled by hydrocarbons. This may gain some economic benefit, but overall impact lies on its CO2 output. One country's fuel source mix for energy spells its viability. Btw, i have a 200+ pg research on renewable energy & climate change.
[2010-06-19 09:25:00] Haytearah - Do a little more ...Do a little more research on if Global Warming is man made. For your own ignorance. Explore both sides of the story basically. I think you will find that this bloom box could be one of the greatest inventions for mankind since the internet.
[2010-05-28 18:06:55] odinfury - put these things in ...put these things in cars..."natural gas tanks" + bloom energy + electric engine equals INDEPENDENCE FROM EXTERNAL POLITICALLY UNSTABLE REGIONS OF THE WORLD...should of been the first thing this company implemented.....the natural gas that goes to your home can become a gas station for your car....
[2010-04-27 23:54:53] thricegod1288 - this man is real ...this man is real smart but rofl'd so hard 4:32-4:33.
[2010-04-21 16:25:19] LloydYdeana - This is not a good ...This is not a good idea. Even if there exist certain savings on power bills, this concept if utilized on economies of scale (i.e. on households and industries) will further increase GHG and dependence on hydrocarbon and fossil fuel thereby aggravating greenhouse effect and would worsen climate changes. Its economic advantage will not outweigh its much impact to environment.
[2010-04-08 16:04:33] KenConLock - 7:27 Male ...7:27 Male superiority
[2010-04-08 16:03:02] KenConLock - 4:27 Male ...4:27 Male superiority
[2010-03-16 01:25:06] billybobblecob - this is only a ...this is only a replacement this isn't a renewable energy source
[2010-03-11 12:17:14] ejbh3160 - If they were making ...If they were making mini-boxes that run ONE average home, which you could put in your basement.. then I'd say cool. But whats sad is that it will only be available in the LARGE format. Its already being used by big corporations & it will even be available to big utility companies to install LARGE arrays at the local transformer & sell the energy at huge profits.. when it COULD be like a small gas central heating boiler but using gas to produce electricity (& heat?) in each home REALLY CHEAPLY!
[2010-03-10 19:50:42] fardavari - There are always ...There are always hope if we look consciously for .
[2010-03-10 11:37:42] ubuibiok - Share...share this ...Share...share this with the World...Meet the CEO KR Sridhar and inventor of the BloomBox...Be the Solution... Share the Word
[2010-03-04 18:30:29] tri400 - how does it cope ...how does it cope with earthquakes in Japan or Chile?
[2010-03-04 06:05:46] flanat - Bloom energy makes ...Bloom energy makes solid oxide fuel cells. What determines the name is the electrolyte. Sorry for being unclear, but yes my example was that of pure H2 and O2. All a fuel cell performs is electrolysis, so for a more complex fuel, just perform half reactions...and thats the governing equation. another example is direct methanol: CH3OH +H2O -> CO2 + 6H(+) + 6e(1-) anode 3/2 O2 +6H(+) +6e(1-) -> 3 H2O cathode. good point on the carbon footprint
[2010-03-04 04:40:22] LloydYdeana - , I think that's ..., I think that's the hydrogen fuel cell. This is fuel cell using hydrocarbons as fuel input. I'm pretty much concerned on the by-products while the reaction is producing +e. The paradigm shift will entirely depend on our power source (fuel mix sourcing). If we are producing the bulk electricity from renewables/nukes which are zero carbon emissions, these hyrdocarbon fuel cells penetrating the electricity market will increase GHG, further aggravating our problem on Climate Change.
[2010-03-03 20:46:02] flanat - In a Pure O2 and H2 ...In a Pure O2 and H2 case, carbon production doesnt occur, with air however there are opprotunities, a far less scale than conventional means though. A SOFC is normally around 50-60% electrically efficient, whereas diesel is around 20-30%at best. Hope this helps. (cant really help on last one...not an economics guy)
[2010-03-03 20:42:56] flanat - SOFC or solid oxide ...SOFC or solid oxide fuel cell. governing chemical equations are : H2 + O(2-) ->H2O + 2e (1-)at anode and 1/2 O2 + 2e(1-) ->O(2-) at thecathode. (in parenthese are the charges). Nitrogen is an inert gas, so you can supply the fuel cell with air, and it will function just the same as pure O2. The efficiency will different since air is only about 21% O2 but by no means otherwise does it affect the system. As you can see from the chemical equation, the products depend on the fuel
[2010-03-03 10:34:31] LloydYdeana - Can I ask, what is ...Can I ask, what is the equation involved during the chemical reaction, i.e. the conversion from chemical to electrical energy ? Some queries pls: How was the 78% nitrogen content of air managed in this system? Aren't we producing more GHG or CO2 from an 'equal' amount of electricity produced with the conventional system? What is the efficiency rating of this new system as compared to let say, diesel-fired power generators? Environmental impacts to economies of scale?
[2010-03-03 04:00:57] DrBeardo - There are already a ...There are already a few companies like walmart and ebay using these machines to power their offices and data centers. The first buyers of these are going to be the data centers, there are only 2 fears in a server farm, power outages and internet outages, if they can have a basement full of these then they only have to fear someone cutting their OC192 line with a backhoe.
[2010-03-03 00:31:12] spacemanishere - I really hate oil ...I really hate oil companies though, they think they can rob the Earth of its resouces, they don't care if they cause the end of the world! They would even harm children if they got in the way, you know why, because all they want is money, they want to take a bath in their own money even if it means destroying the beautiful life here ON MY GOD DAMN PLANET, EARTH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'M SO GOD DAMN TIRED OF IT!! DAMN THEM!! SUCH PRIMITIVE BEINGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
[2010-03-03 00:20:10] spacemanishere - I can't wait until ...I can't wait until they run out of oil, and when they do, I'm going to spend all day laughing at those stupid oil companies, I might even travel to the company building itself hundreds of miles away to laugh at their faces! Just think what the expressions on their faces would look like! It would be so funny! I would probably stumble to their feet and keep laughing until my head exploded! XD LAUGH XD LAUGH XD LAUGH XD HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!!
[2010-03-01 23:34:12] rdf7777 - This will never ...This will never happen OPEC and the oil companies are going to suppress this and it will cost you a lifetime of electrical use to own one, if it ever comes to fruition, LOL.
