Once Verizon finally gets some LTE phones on their network we'll see that HSPA+ is at least on par with LTE, and will be able to grow faster.

They revised thier definition based on the "significant improvement" over existing 3G technologies. The fact that HSPA+ builds off of HSPA is irrelevant. The reason the CDMA carriers had to change technologies is because EV-DO was already maxed out. HSPA still had plenty of room for growth.

I'm have the HTC myTouch 4G on the T-Mobile Network. I recorded 8.98 Mbps download and 1.47 Mbps upload. I have NO problems while out and about using my phone in the mall shopping with my wife or on the highway.
