your drawings were quite incorrect. but i like your theory. the 1st dimension = 1 direction (say left and right with no up or down and no depth) the 2nd dimension = 2 directions (say left and right up and down but no depth) the 3rd dimension = 3 directions (left right, up down and depth)

wow, !!! The speed in which he speaks!!! any slower and he would be speaking backwards. I just went 4 mins into the future watching this but it felt like five hours. otherwise he makes some good points :)

If going back in time meant getting younger with no knowledge of the future, then it could be an infinite loop.

[2011-12-27 01:58:42] 21stCenturyAmarjotx3 - Clocks and watches ...

Clocks and watches are not time, they just represent what time could be, in a way that's practical for us. If we were to go back in 'time', wouldn't it just create an infinite loop of you existing up until the point you went back in time?

[2011-12-25 19:55:08] dancypants1023 - @kause531 What you ...

@kause531 What you are saying is not time travel but more of space travel. It is no different then going to another room where they are people that look and act exactly like the room you can from.

[2011-12-25 19:54:04] dancypants1023 - The difference ...

The difference between motion and change is that motion is a change in space. If something changes but is still in the same space it is not in motion such as a flower changing colors. I do suspect that everything in space is moving. I mean everything as in everything that has matter.

[2011-12-25 16:25:03] sipa2125 - But can't every ...

But can't every change be explained via motion? On subatomic levels perhaps. If there is no matter, then there is no motion. So how can time exist?

[2011-12-18 05:41:02] pbird88 - INTERESTING, i have ...

INTERESTING, i have a theory that to get into a fourth dimension your going to have to break the barrier that seperates the two, as in a machine that moves fast as shit hahaha as for where abouts in the past/future ur gunna end up is a different topic.

[2011-12-17 18:45:10] LewisAM37 - The second theory ...

The second theory seems like multiple time lines in disguise. if the present is moving forward at the same rate as the first one and you cannot affect it, then it may as well be considered a different time line. But it does prompt an interesting idea where if you traveled back in time you would exist up until the point time where you traveled back originally, only then are you erased. this could work as a way to write a story around.

[2011-12-16 13:11:10] nycbassist76 - time travel ...

time travel fascinates me...on a pure fictional level...on a realistic level it's impossible...time is permanent..time isn't like a dvd you can't just jump around..time isn't predetermined...you can take a clock and turn it back an hour..but it doesn't change the time

I like your approach. My friends and I have spent a lot of time pondering this subject and there are limitless factors to consider. One of my favorites is the feasibility of becoming the very future that lures you into the past which then becomes your future. We have a webseries called paradox that revolves around this subject. If your interested, check out our channel.

[2011-10-01 13:31:31] dancypants1023 - When I see a ...

When I see a digital clock I notice that the numbers chance but yet the clock doesn't move. I think time travel is impossible. In order to go to the past you have to halt all progress in the universe and change it exactly as it was before. Even if that is possible all that does it makes the present look like the past. I based that idea on watching the same video again and again but yet I am still in the present.

[2011-10-01 07:57:48] pjconnor74 - You have some ...

You have some remarkable ideas on time travel. I'd like to hear what you have so say about my ideas!

[2011-10-01 07:49:30] pjconnor74 - time is a ...

time is a measurement of a fourth variable that exists outside of our observable dimensions; x,y,z. t (time) is a delta measurement, as in a change in the aforementioned time dimension, but a change of zero in x,y,z while t changes is still a quantifiable change. So, if t changes and x,y,z remain the same in a motionless scenario then change could happen without motion. Case in point: a void in space.

Use a digital watch. Leave it on a table. You will notice the numbers are changing. The truth is the watch is not moving but the planet it is on is.

[2011-07-23 09:26:44] soberauer - I wonder though, if ...

I wonder though, if change can ever happen without motion?

[2011-07-23 09:22:17] soberauer - that makes sense

that makes sense

[2011-05-29 12:06:29] FlashLoon - anouther simplr but ...

anouther simplr but effective way of time travel is to have your mind occupied like watch this video you can travel 9 minutes into the future and feel as if it has flew past you! you can also watch a film and realise you have went 2 hours into the future aswell! its good for is you want to waste the day away fast to get to tomoro!

[2011-05-27 15:50:44] anticorncob6 - Albert Einstien ...

Albert Einstien showed that time travel in real life is more possible then you think, but NONE OF THESE is the one true solution. Well I don't know for sure about that, but the fourth about going from age 20 to 5 is DEFINETELY not right. Still cool things you thought of though.
