I've often found myself concerned about the future of robotics. Not concerned for humans, as much as for the robots. I deeply suspect humans will eventually create slave robots. If robots are made, which are intelligent enough to give human level advice, then I suspect they will eventually be clever enough to deserve rights. However humans will likely not give them, as most rights movements throughout history have relied upon appeals to human ego, and not to "attacks" on human ego.
