Tubes are not being made in the United States anymore. Same with potentiometers. New Old Stock (NOS) USA electronic parts are hard to find & they're expensive, because they haven't been made in a long time. I don't own any "digital amps", just all-tube. Pro's use gear with Chinese parts, so stop saying racist stuff like "yes junk" & "throw your chines one away." You're so ignorant.

And why are you so racist? You keep equating Chinese made with "junk." I own a Peavey guitar amp (made in China) that is excellent. And the tubes in them, as well as the tubes in my USA Carvin amp, & UK Marshall amp, are made in China. The UK Celestion speakers are made in China. USA Gibson & Fender guitars have parts from China.

I go out of my way to not purchase these things. I even make sure the hard drive in my multiple computers is american made. chinas pollution problems stem from growing faster than can be controlled.

I drove a truck for a while here and picked up the commodities that make these items. asia has a miniscule amount of production compared to the us. they make our junk period. the us still has 30% of the world's manufacturing base. gm cars are mostly made in north america . but you are correct that not all american company's have manufacturing here.

Most of the world's electronic components are made in Asia. The steel in your car comes from China. Gibson guitars are loaded with Asian-made parts. iPods are made in China. Your TV, cellphone, & half of the things in your kitchen are made in China. American companies mostly just ASSEMBLE parts which are imported from other parts of the world...mostly Asia.

I don't buy foreign crap & will go out of my way to do so. the shoes 1 pair china 1 pair hong kong. ipod?? san jose. I buy american or japanese.
